NOV 18th 2:30-11:00 PM. Volunteering in a hospital allowed me to support patients, families, and staff during moments when they needed it most. Whether I was helping visitors find their way, delivering supplies, or offering comfort through small acts of kindness, I saw firsthand how even simple tasks can ease someone’s stress. My presence helped nurses and other healthcare workers focus on patient care, and it reassured patients that they weren’t alone. This experience showed me how meaningful it is to serve others during vulnerable times and reinforced the importance of compassion, communication, and teamwork in healthcare.

NOV 4TH 2:30 PM-11:00 PM. Volunteering in the hospital ICU showed me how even small acts of support can make a huge difference for patients and their families. Whether I was bringing warm blankets, helping answer call lights, or just being a calm presence in a stressful environment, I felt like I was contributing to someone’s comfort during a really hard moment. Watching the nurses work also opened my eyes to how much compassion and teamwork goes into caring for critically ill patients. Overall, it reminded me why I want to be in healthcare—because being there for people when they need it most truly matters.

Volunteering at the food bank was a rewarding experience. I helped pack and distribute food to families in need, which made me realize how many people rely on these services. It taught me the value of teamwork, empathy, and giving back to the community. This experience reminded me to be grateful and inspired me to continue helping others whenever I can.
