All the employees have a good balance between being professional and thus remaining diligent in ensuring the environment is sanitary while being extremely friendly. I would remind students to flip the cards on their tables to show its in use and therefore needs to be cleaned afterward. After the tests were completed and the students left, another one of the volunteers or I would disinfect the surfaces the test takers had used. Since it was a pretty slow day, the staff not only allowed me but encouraged me to prepare for my finals and work on schoolwork during our downtime. They were easy to talk to and understanding. I am already considering volunteering for them again sometime in the future and would encourage anyone else contemplating volunteering for them to do so.

Before this experience, I had always admired the beauty and design of the landscaping around campus. However, assisting in helping maintain it firsthand gave me a new appreciation for the work that goes into creating and sustaining the various picturesque landscaped areas around campus. The job was straightforward, and everyone who was there on behalf of the office of sustainability and hired for landscaping around campus was very kind and appreciative of our efforts. It felt good to help minimize the employee's workload and positively contribute to Ohio University's beauty. I would volunteer again for the office of sustainability as I sincerely enjoyed the experience.
