Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas serves more than 22,600 girls and is supported by 6,000 trained adult volunteers across a 21-county service area including: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Maverick, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson, and Zavala.

Girls participate in five flexible Girl Scout pathways so that each girl can design her own unique leadership experience. Through activities in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), financial literacy, the Girl Scout Cookie Program, career readiness, outdoor education, the arts, Take Action service projects and more, girls learn skills in teamwork, goal-setting and leadership to become successful leaders in our community.
