(Inactive) CU Residence Hall Association

About

The University of Colorado Boulder Residence Hall Association is a student-run organization dedicated to advocacy, programming, and leadership to foster community among students living in the residence halls.

General Body

General Body meetings provide a space for all Community Council members to share the projects and initiatives within their residence halls and hear about upcoming events on campus. Members from other campus organizations are invited to come present on their activities, plans, and service or volunteer opportunities. General Body meetings are crucial to ensuring CU residence halls foster inclusive communities and advocate for students’ needs.

Advocacy Campaigns

RHA strives to create a safe and inclusive home for all students living on campus. The Advocacy Council is responsible for coordinating advocacy campaigns and initiatives to educate peers around inclusion, coordinate fun events to eliminate cultural taboos, and develop social change projects to improve the residential experience of current and future students. Past advocacy initiatives include a commitment to sustainable programming, our traditional Consent Carnival program, and advocacy for more effective and impactful bus routes for our residential students.

Signature Events

RHA hosts several signature events on campus including Connect at the Rec and Haunted Halls. The Board of Activities and Events is a committee of RHA that plans and coordinates large scale campus events for all students living on campus. These large scale events are designed to develop community across the residence halls and provide stimulating engagement and involvement opportunities.
