About

JULY 9th Help out CultureHouse and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy cultivate community engagement at Fenway Porchfest.

CultureHouse will be hosting community engagement activities and will train you on how to support them. It's a lot of fun and you'll get to listen to music at the festival!

Fenway Porchfest is a collaborative partnership among three Fenway organizations —Fenway Community Development Organization, Fenway Civic Association, and the Fenway Alliance. It is a free music festival that takes place in a wide range of diverse outdoor spaces in the Fenway, ranging from the Verb Hotel and 401 Park to Massachusetts Historical Society to the Emerald Necklace and the MFA! We’re a bit different from other Porchfests in the variety of our sites and in the reach of music we draw from as the proud home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, New England Conservatory and Berklee College of Music. Our first Fenway Porchfest was organized in June 2018. In June 2019 Fenway Porchfest hosted 36 locations throughout the Fenway and over 85 performers!

This is just one of several Parks as Platform Events! These events include music festivals, picnics, and family events and we are in need of set-up support, data gathering, language translation and more! Your help could bring that much more joy to the following events (and a cool T-shirt with art by Ben Jundanian awaits you!)
